Tempura Prawns and Vegetable with Sweet and Sour Sauce
500g prawns (peeled & deveined, tails on)
500g mixed vegetables (potato, carrot, zucchini, onion), thinly sliced
220g McCormick Tempura Batter
250ml iced water
McCormick Sweet and Sour sauce (enough for dipping)
Preheat deep fryer to 180C.
Whisk McCormick Culinary Tempura Batter mix together with ice cold water in a large bowl.
Dip prawns and vegetables in the batter and shake off excess.
Deep fry prawns and vegetables in batches until pale golden colour and cooked through -about 1 minute. Drain and serve with McCormick Culinary Sweet & Sour Sauce.
